Resignation (Off-Boarding)
A resignation is a voluntary separation of employment. Although it is customary to provide at least two (2) week’s notice to allow Payroll Services to process the final pay accurately and in a timely manner, it is not legally required. To initiate your resignation from the University, you are encouraged to provide notification to your supervisor and then click on the “Initiate Resignation” blue button to begin the process. When initiating your resignation, please have readily available your employee ID number, supervisor’s name and email address, last physical working day, and last day on Payroll. To help you transition smoothly, please download this Off-Boarding Guide. For questions regarding resignations, email hr@csusb.edu or call 909-537-5138.
This process only applies to full-time staff and administrators. Student Assistants should contact the Employment Services Team at employmentservices@csusb.edu or (909) 537-4415.
